1. PROTESTERS DEMONSTRATE AGAINST ZIMMERMAN'S ACQUITTAL

Protesters angered by the acquittal of George Zimmerman held largely peaceful demonstrations in three California cities, a handful of cities in Florida, as well as in Atlanta, Washington, and New York. The gatherings Saturday night ranged from a few dozen to a couple hundred people turning out to protest the verdict in the Florida courtroom.
