The fourth M:I is “an expertly crafted piece of pop entertainment,” said The Miami Herald. The plot—Tom Cruise trying to foil a madman from starting a nuclear war—is forgettable, but the vivid, high-octane action sequences make this “pure popcorn of the highest, most flavorful order.”
