No Man of Her Own

“Director Mitchell Leisen keeps on springing surprises” in this “stealthy film noir” from 1950, said the Bergen County, N.J., Record. Barbara Stanwyck is “at her best.” After assuming the identity of a recent crash victim, her character tries to start anew, until a former lover turns up with other plans.
