A Maine man who drove into a light pole in a Wal-Mart parking lot is suing for damages, claiming the pole was in a “hazardous location.” Richard Griswold says he sustained $2,918.05 in damage to his truck by hitting “the free-standing pole,” and that a Wal-Mart employee later confessed that this was “not a normal configured lot.”
