A Kansas City religious mission is being sued by the International House of Pancakes for using its acronym. Lawyers for the International House of Prayer say it has abbreviated its name as “IHOP” for the past 10 years without any confusion. But a spokesman for the pancake chain says that the church has recently “expanded, and now some of the branches are serving food.”

A Florida woman is suing South Miami Hospital for $1 million, after doctors circumcised her newborn son against her wishes. The hospital said the surgery was “an unfortunate mistake,” but Vera Delgado’s lawyer said “the amputation” of the baby’s foreskin was an “assault.” “Circumcision is not the way penises were meant to be,” he said.
