A Chicago woman who drunkenly fell through the window of a hair salon is suing its owners for having the wrong sort of glass. Melanie Shaker admits she lost her balance during a drunken fight with her husband, but says the salon owners should have installed special safety glass, since the sidewalk out front is “frequently traveled by intoxicated pedestrians.”

U.S. high schools have banned wrestlers from weighing in naked, out of fear someone with a camera phone will take their picture. “I’d rather have someone upset at me that their daughter or son was a tenth of a pound overweight [for their weight class],” said Bob Colgate of the National Federation of High School Associations, “than call and tell me, “‘Why is their picture on the Internet?’”
