Electronic privacy advocates criticized the ruling. BAD DAY FOR: A model workforce, after a handful of Parisian artists’ models disrobed in the cold outside the city’s cultural affairs office to protest a recent ban on tips and their generally low pay. The models, who work for the city, say the average wage of $12 an hour to pose before students and professional artists is too low and that the ban on gratuities was the final straw. “We’re performers who play non-speaking roles,” said model Carole Kras.
