Through Dec. 21, Playa del Carmen's Mahekal Beach Resort is discounting rooms by 20 percent. Book the fall special through Dec. 19 and a garden-view double in a thatched-roof palapa starts at $220 a night.

2. Viceroy Hotel bargain
The 12 hotels of the Viceroy Hotel Group are offering discounts of up to 40 percent on stays through late 2018 if you book before Dec. 4. Doubles at San Francisco's Zetta Hotel are $239 a night in mid-January.
3. Cyber Monday Miami
From now until Dec. 4, save 20 percent on rooms booked at the Atton Brickell Miami. Doubles at the downtown hotel start at $191 with the discount, for stays through next November. Some blackout dates apply.
