James Cromwell protests Starbucks by gluing his hand to counter
That'll do, James. That'll do. Actor James Cromwell superglued his hand to a counter at a Starbucks in Manhattan on Tuesday as a part of a PETA demonstration against charging more for vegan milk. "Starbucks claims that it wants to be more sustainable, but it discourages customers from choosing sustainable products," Cromwell shouted while sitting on the counter, video showed. Wearing a shirt that read "Free the Animals," the actor also joined protesters who chanted, "Save the planet, save the cows, end the vegan upcharge now!" Cromwell ultimately unglued himself from the counter after police arrived at the store. The actor has participated in PETA protests before, and he's been a vegan ever since appearing in the movie Babe. In a 2018 ad for PETA, he said going vegan is the "best way to end animals' suffering."

Michelle Williams is pregnant with her 3rd child
A very happy belated Mother's Day to Michelle Williams, whose family is about to expand. The Oscar-nominated actress revealed to Variety she's expecting her third child. "It's totally joyous," she said. "As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It's exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time." This will be Williams' second child with husband Thomas Kail, with whom she shares a son, Hart. She also has a daughter, 16-year-old Matilda, from her relationship with Heath Ledger, who died in 2008. Williams and Kail married in 2020, and they welcomed their son that year during COVID-19 lockdown. "It was a reminder that life goes on," Williams told Variety. "The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that."

Hilary Duff poses nude on the cover of 'Women's Health'
Hilary Duff made the "extremely thoughtful and deliberate" decision to go nude for the latest issue of Women's Health, according to the magazine. "I'm proud of my body," the former Lizzie McGuire actress said. "I'm proud that it's produced three children for me. I've gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through." The How I Met Your Father star touched on a number of topics in the magazine profile, including the "horrifying" eating disorder she battled when she was 17. "Because of my career path, I can't help but be like, 'I am on camera and actresses are skinny,'" she noted. But she said that at age 34, "I have just gained a lot of respect for my body" — though she wanted to be crystal clear that a "makeup artist was there putting glow all over my body" for these cover photos, and "someone put me in the most flattering position."

'Doctor Strange' writer also wanted to see Tom Cruise cameo as Iron Man
Marvel fans didn't see Tom Cruise show up as Iron Man in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but they nearly willed it into existence. Leading up to the film, one of the most persistent rumors was that Cruise would cameo as an alternate universe Tony Stark, something that never came to pass, and speaking with Rolling Stone, screenwriter Michael Waldron said this rumor "was totally made up." But Waldron also revealed that when he saw the online buzz about this and agreed it'd "be cool," he briefly tried to make it happen. "I said to [Marvel Studios president] Kevin [Feige] at one point, I was like, Could we get Tom Cruise's Iron Man?" Waldron explained. But he says nobody ended up asking Cruise, since he was busy shooting Mission: Impossible at the time. Clearly, the solution was to instead get Robert Downey Jr. to cameo ... as Ethan Hunt.

Ariana DeBose is in the new season of 'Westworld'
Hey, remember Westworld? It turns out not only is a fourth season still happening, but it's coming out next month — with a recent Oscar winner on board. HBO has dropped a trailer for the new season of its sci-fi show that was at some point about a Western theme park, which reveals it returns on June 26. The footage is fittingly cryptic, but in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, West Side Story star Ariana DeBose shows up in the background of a shot, and HBO confirmed she's joining as a guest star. It's a pretty significant TV role for the actress, who just won an Oscar for West Side Story. She also hosted Saturday Night Live earlier this year and stars in Apple's musical comedy Schmigadoon!. HBO hasn't revealed details about DeBose's character, though after how confusing season three was, we'd probably have no clue what they were talking about even if they did.
