1. Hilary Duff slams 'heartless' publisher over unfinished Aaron Carter memoir
Too soon? Hilary Duff is speaking out against Ballast Books over its plans to publish her ex-boyfriend Aaron Carter's unfinished and "incomplete" memoir not even two weeks after his death. Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story of an Incomplete Life was co-written by Andy Symonds, who interviewed Carter for three years, and excerpts have already been making the rounds, including one where Carter claims he and Duff lost their virginity to each other at 13. "It's really sad that within a week of Aaron's death, there's a publisher that seems to be recklessly pushing a book out to capitalize on this tragedy without taking appropriate time or care to fact check the validity of his work," Duff said in a statement, calling the "unverified" book an "uninformed, heartless, money grab." Carter's management team also slammed the book, but the author defended it, saying, "Aaron had a right — as we all do — to tell his story."
2. Sydney Sweeney says trolls tagged her family in nude stills of her
For the love of God, leave the Sweeney cousins out of your thirsty tweets. In a new GQ profile, Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney revealed that people have been screenshotting stills of her nude in an episode where nude footage of her character is passed around school, uploading the screenshots to Instagram, and then tagging her family members in the posts. "My cousins don't need that," she said. "It's completely disgusting and unfair." It sure seemed like these fans were missing the point of the show, too, considering Sweeney noted this mirrored what her character is put through. "You have a character that goes through the scrutiny of being a sexualized person at school and then an audience that does the same thing," she said. Besides, for certain members of her family, it would be old news anyway. Earlier this year, Sweeney recalled inviting her "entire family" to the Euphoria premiere, after which her grandparents "said I have the best t--s in Hollywood."

3. Florence Pugh and Zach Braff share friendly Instagram exchange after break-up
It looks like Florence Pugh has maintained a far more friendly relationship with her ex-boyfriend than a certain ex-director. The Don't Worry Darling actress shared a cute interaction with Zach Braff on Instagram this week, suggesting they've remained friendly since breaking up. Braff posted about auctioning off a half-hour Zoom call with himself and Scrubs co-star Donald Faison for charity. "I'm deffo bidding on this," Pugh commented, leading Braff to write back, "I'm certain you could get this for free, but it is a very good cause for veterans." Pugh started dating Braff in 2019, but she confirmed in August they broke up earlier this year — quietly, hoping to avoid "having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together." Best of luck to Pugh on securing that Zoom call, though if she changes her mind and wants to get out of it, she can always claim she's too busy shooting Dune. It worked with Olivia Wilde!
4. Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano are expecting their 2nd child
She said … We're having a baby! Actress Zoe Kazan is expecting her second child with partner Paul Dano. The news was confirmed via a new photoshoot for Marie Claire tied to Kazan's movie She Said, and the actress was clearly shown with a baby bump. There had previously been speculation that she was pregnant when she attended the film's New York Film Festival premiere in October. Kazan and Dano have been dating since 2007, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alma, in 2018. "I'm so tired and I'm so in love," Dano said on The Tonight Show at the time. This year, they're both starring in movies that are likely to compete against each other for Best Picture at the Oscars — Kazan is in She Said and Dano is in The Fabelmans — and they could even both personally be nominated for acting awards. First one to the Oscar gets to name the baby!

5. Finn Wolfhard is a 'lousy kisser,' according to Millie Bobby Brown
On a scale from one to 11, Finn Wolfhard's kissing skills are closer to the former, according to Millie Bobby Brown. While taking a lie detector test with Vanity Fair, the Stranger Things actress put Wolfhard on blast for being a bad kisser. Noting she once proclaimed "kissing sucks" after sharing her first kiss with her co-star on screen, the interviewer asked Brown, "Is Finn just a lousy kisser?" Unlike with some other questions, she didn't even attempt to lie. "He is," she said — and the lie detector found she was telling the truth. "So he hasn't gotten better?" the interviewer asked. "Not with me, no," she said. Brown added that she's never told Wolfhard this, and when the interviewer noted he's about to find out, she seemed fine with that. "That's okay," Brown said. But Wolfhard shouldn't take it too personally. Maybe Brown just had her standards set too high after working with the most romantic kisser in Hollywood: Godzilla.
