1. Michael Bay charged with killing a pigeon
He's been a bad boy to the pigeon community, at least if you believe Italian authorities. Transformers director Michael Bay is facing charges in Italy in connection with the shocking murder … of a pigeon, The Wrap reports. Italian authorities have alleged a homing pigeon was killed during the 2018 production of the director's film 6 Underground in Rome. As the report notes, pigeons are a protected species in Italy, where harming them is illegal. An insider told The Wrap the pigeon was "allegedly killed by a dolly in the middle of a take," and someone on set apparently snapped a photo and reported it to the authorities. But Bay strongly denied the allegations. "I am a well-known animal lover and major animal activist," and "no animal involved in the production" — or "any other production I've worked on in the past 30 years" — was "injured or harmed," he said in a statement to The Wrap shouted over the sound of explosions.
2. Amanda Seyfried's mysterious musical project reportedly revealed
It's a tough day for the Mamma Mia! fan army. Days after it was revealed at the Golden Globes that Amanda Seyfried couldn't make it because she is "deep in the process of creating a new musical," that mysterious project has apparently been revealed — and no, it's not a third Mamma Mia! movie. Instead, Variety reports Seyfried is "involved with a workshop on the musical version" of Thelma & Louise. A musical adaptation of the 1991 movie was announced in 2021, so it sounds like Seyfried has boarded that project, and Variety reports Evan Rachel Wood may join her. Seyfried wasn't present at the Golden Globes on Tuesday when she won an award for The Dropout, but she said on Instagram she "had to miss it because" she's in New York "doing something that is magic and it's musical." Our guess was First Reformed: The Musical, but this works too.

3. Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes reportedly out at 'GMA' after alleged affair
Good night, America. Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are out at Good Morning America in the wake of allegations that they had an affair while they were both married, Us Weekly reports. ABC pulled the two co-hosts off the air in December, with network president Kim Godwin reportedly telling staffers the affair scandal became an "internal and external distraction." They haven't returned since, and a source now tells Us Weekly, "Amy and T.J. are out, a decision has been made. The network is negotiating with them on their exit deals and an announcement." Meanwhile, TMZ reports Robach and Holmes have both "lawyered up big time," and their attorneys are ready to sue ABC if they're fired. TMZ adds that "race might be an issue" in a possible lawsuit, with their attorneys prepared to ask, "Has ABC ever used the morals or conduct clause to fire or discipline two consenting adults at equal levels when both were white?" ABC you in court!
4. Kanye West reportedly had a secret wedding ceremony
Do Ye take this woman? Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, recently had "some sort of wedding ceremony" with a woman named Bianca Censori, an architectural designer for Yeezy, TMZ reports. The news comes just after TMZ reported that Ye dined with the "new mystery woman" at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, where he may or may not be living in the wake of his career implosion. Not much else is known about Ye's relationship with Censori, though he did release a song last month named after her, "Censori Overload." But while Ye has been spotted wearing a wedding ring, TMZ reports he apparently didn't file a marriage certificate to make this all legal, so it sounds like he's putting as much effort into his new marriage as he did into his presidential campaign. We'll go ahead and pencil in a follow-up story about Ye's secret divorce for … let's say next Wednesday?

5. Nicolas Cage pays tribute to ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley
Tributes are pouring in for Lisa Marie Presley after the sudden death of Elvis and Priscilla Presley's daughter. Presley died Thursday at age 54 just hours after she was rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest. Nicolas Cage, who was married to Presley for 107 days in 2002, was among those to pay tribute. "This is devastating news," Cage said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "Lisa had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met. She lit up every room, and I am heartbroken. I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son Benjamin." Presley will be laid to rest next to her late son Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020, at Graceland. Elvis director Baz Luhrmann also remembered Presley's "kind embrace" and mourned the "sudden, shocking loss," which came two days after she attended the Golden Globes for the film. Elvis star Tom Hanks also said he and his wife, Rita Wilson, are "heartbroken."
