Lucas Moura’s hat-trick against Ajax sent Tottenham Hotspur through to the final against Liverpool in Madrid
The 2019 Uefa Champions League final will be an all-English affair with Tottenham Hotspur taking on Liverpool in Madrid on 1 June.
Brazilian forward Lucas Moura was the Spurs hero after scoring a hat-trick - including an injury-time winner - in a dramatic 3-2 victory against Ajax in the semi-final second leg on Wednesday 8 May.
With the tie finishing 3-3 on aggregate the north London club progress to the final on away goals.

After Liverpool’s miraculous comeback against Barcelona Spurs also had to achieve a miracle. They were 2-0 down at half-time in Amsterdam but Moura’s treble saw them over the line.
Liverpool lost 3-0 away in Barcelona but the Anfield club hit back to win the semi-final second leg 4-0 at Anfield.

When is the Champions League final?
The 2018-19 Champions League final between Tottenham and Liverpool will be played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain, on Saturday 1 June (8pm kick-off UK time).
Final ‘home team’
Uefa has confirmed which team will be at “home” for the final in Madrid. Tottenham will be the designated home team, with Liverpool being the away team.
