1. ED MILIBAND FACING INTERNAL REVOLT

Ed Miliband is facing growing discontent from within his own party, say reports. Although Labour topped the local polls in England with 31% of the vote, its share of the vote was seven points below the one it achieved a year before Neil Kinnock lost the 1992 election. Meanwhile, The Independent slaps down Ukip triumphalism, declaring “the party’s best days are already behind it”.
