1. Voting underway in Greece poll

Voting has begun in the Greece bailout referendum, as the public decides whether to accept a deal offered by the country's creditors. The first results are expected on Sunday evening. According to opinion polls, the "Yes" and "No" camps are neck-and-neck. The government has urged people to vote "No", but opponents warn this could see Greece ejected from the eurozone.

2. British Isis girl ‘mocks Tunisia massacre’

A teenage girl who fled Britain to join Islamic State has reportedly mocked the victims of the Tunisian massacre. Amira Abase, 16, wrote that she was laughing out loud – ‘Lol’ in text speak – as Britain mourned the 30 citizens murdered on the Sousse beach. The alleged remark came during an exchange with a Mail On Sunday reporter.

3. Cameron ally makes low pay call

Firms must be forced to raise low pay, says a key ally of David Cameron. Former Number 10 aide Rohan Silva has unveiled a radical plan to make the living wage a requirement. Writing in The Observer, Silva says the time has come to tell all employers to pay the living wage – an hourly rate well above the minimum wage.

4. Macca ‘frustrated’ by Lennon martyrdom

Paul McCartney says he is "frustrated" that the assassination of John Lennon 1980 made him a martyr and "elevated him to a James Dean, and beyond". Speaking to Esquire, the former Beatle said: “I started to get frustrated because people started to say, 'Well, he was the Beatles.' And me, George and Ringo would go, 'Er, hang on. It's only a year ago we were all equal-ish.'"

5. Clinton accuses China of hacking

Hillary Clinton has accused China of stealing commercial secrets and government information, reports the BBC. The US Democratic presidential hopeful accused Beijing of "trying to hack into everything that doesn't move in America”. US officials had named China as the chief suspect in the massive hack of the records of a US government agency earlier this year.

6. George Osborne plans £650m BBC raid

George Osborne has launched a £650m budget raid on the BBC to help cover Britain’s benefits bill, reports The Sunday Times this morning. The chancellor wants to force the corporation to meet the cost of free television licences for the over-75s. It is believed he will force the BBC to take on the cost of the 4.5m licences — worth £145.50 each — from the Department for Work and Pensions.

7. Murray marches on at Wimbledon

Andy Murray overcame a shoulder problem to beat Italy's Andreas Seppi in four sets and secure a place in the second week of Wimbledon. Murray won 6-2 6-2 1-6 6-1 to set up a fourth-round match with Croatian 23rd seed Ivo Karlovic. Seeded third, he is the last Briton standing in the singles at Wimbledon fortnight.

8. England come third in Women’s World Cup

England finished third at the Women's World Cup after Fara Williams's extra-time penalty ensured they beat Germany for the first time in 31 years. Defending champions Japan hope to retain their Women's World Cup title as they meet USA in the final for the second successive tournament. The USA won gold when they defeated Japan 2-1 in the final at London 2012.

9. Cold call firm pushes injury claims

A leading British accident claim company is encouraging customers to fabricate or exaggerate injuries for profit, according to an undercover Sunday Times investigation. Staff at Complete Claim Solutions, which makes more than 7m cold calls a year, encourage motorists to make spurious personal injury claims by offering potential payouts of up to £5,000.

10. Billy Joel in surprise fourth marriage

Billy Joel has married girlfriend Alexis Roderick in a surprise ceremony at the singer's Long Island estate, reports Sky News. The couple exchanged vows while they were hosting a Fourth of July party celebrating Independence Day. A spokeswoman for Joel, who has been married three times before, said his guests at the bash did not know the couple were planning to get married.
