1. NHS doctors declare war on Jeremy Hunt
Doctors have declared war on Jeremy Hunt for “peddling myths” about doctors’ workloads, reports The Independent. The health secretary has also demoralised the NHS workforce over plans for more seven-day services, the leader of Britain’s doctors says. A survey has revealed nine out of 10 consultants are already on evening and weekend rotas.
2. Crashed jet ‘belonged to Bin Ladens’
A plane that crashed in Hampshire killing four people belonged to Osama Bin Laden's family, claim reports this morning. The pilot and his three passengers died when a private jet crashed and burst into flames at a car auction site on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey yesterday. The plane reportedly belonged to an aviation firm owned by the family of the former al-Qaeda leader.
3. Zimbabwe wants to extradite Cecil man
Zimbabwe is to demand the extradition of the Minneapolis dentist who shot Cecil the lion. “We want him to be tried in Zimbabwe because he violated our laws,” said Oppah Muchinguri, minister of natural resources. Walter Palmer has not been seen since Monday but the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which is probing the killing, said that it had been contacted by his representative.

4. Ed Balls slams Miliband on business
Ed Balls has attacked Labour's approach to business under Ed Miliband. The former shadow chancellor, who lost his seat in May, tells the Daily Telegraph it is "no secret" he thought Miliband positioned himself wrongly on business.
He also revealed that since the election he had turned down an offer to appear on ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
5. Regulator to act on ‘chugging’ charities
Charities could face criminal sanctions unless they stop aggressive fundraising tactics, reports The Times. Charity Commission chair William Shawcross tells The Times that unless self-regulation works, the watchdog could oversee practices such as street fundraising. "There is a dilemma for charities," he said. "They have to raise money... but they mustn't be aggressive."
6. MH370 debris arrives in Paris
Debris believed to be from missing flight MH370 has arrived in Paris from the island where it was found this week. The material, believed to be part of a wing, was flown to France from Reunion in the Indian Ocean. The Malaysia Airlines jet travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing vanished in March 2014. There were 239 passengers and crew on board.
7. Britain enjoys a blue moon
Britain has witnessed its first blue moon in three years. A full moon hung in the sky for the second time in a month. The "blue moon" name is used when an extra full moon appears within a specific time period. The blue moon is considered significant by astrologers who regard it as an omen of upset, change and possibility. Others claim it signals a time to give in to the heart's desires.
8. Burnham: Corbyn supporters could ‘split’ party
Labour risks a return to the splits of the 1980s if it installs Jeremy Corbyn as party leader, warns fellow candidate Andy Burnham. Speaking to The Guardian before the launch of his leadership manifesto next week, he said of Corbyn’s supporters: “There are dangers here, there are some echoes of the early ‘80s. Those should ring loud warnings, alarm bells.”
9. Mark Zuckerberg expecting a baby
Billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced that he and his wife are expecting their first baby. He revealed on Facebook that he and Priscilla Chan, whom he married in 2012, have suffered three miscarriages after "trying to have a child for a couple of years". He added: "You feel so hopeful when you learn you're going to have a child.”
10. Naomi Campbell convicted of assault
Naomi Campbell has been found guilty of assault, reports the Daily Mail. The 45-year-old model was accused of scratching the eye of a paparazzo photographer who took pictures of her and her former boyfriend on holiday. She struck Gaetano Di Giovanni with her handbag after he photographed her walking through the Sicilian island of Lipar.
