Best Black Friday TV deals 2021: 7 top discounts for all budgets
With all of the biggest online retailers discounting tech, Black Friday 2021 is a great time to pick up a bargain TV of any size
Perhaps the first thing you think about when you hear the words "Black Friday" is images of people fighting over discounted TVs in big box stores. But thanks to online shopping, you can get a great Black Friday TV deal without waiting in line or risking your neck.
With only a couple of days to go until Thanksgiving, we've already seen some eye-popping discounts on TVs — from super cheap sets that will cost you less than $300 all the way to budget-busting 8K ultra HD TVs with discounts running in to the thousands.
Samsung TU7000 55" 4K Smart TV: $479.99
For most Black Friday TV deals hunters, this 55-inch TV from Samsung is going to hit the sweet spot between size, features and price — you can buy it now for less than $500 (the lowest price we've ever seen this model). For that you'll get a large flatscreen TV with ultra HD picture, smart speaker compatability, and Samsung's custom Tizen Smart TV menu that makes navigating between linear TV and streaming apps really easy.
VIZIO V-Series 70" 4K Smart TV: $498
If size matters to you most, then Walmart is stocking a 70-inch TV that you can buy for less than $500. It may not be the most recognizble brand on the market, but you won't find an ultra HD TV of this size at this price anywhere else following a $200 discount.
Amazon Fire TV 4-Series 50" 4K smart TV: $329.99
As it so often does around Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon has reserved one of its most eye-catching TV deals for its store brand tech. Released earlier this year, the 50-inch version of the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series includes an ultra HD display, Dolby Digital Plus surround sound, and the benefit of the company's Fire TV smarts and Alexa-enabled voice controls. With the discount that started earlier this month, you can now buy this TV for its cheapest price yet.
LG C1 65" OLED 4K Smart TV: $1,799
If you're a frequent gamer, it's worth having the TV hardware to match the power of your next-generation console. GamesRadar has rated LG's OLED C1 series as the best gaming TV on the market, and Best Buy currently has a discount on the 65-inch model. In addition to the regular 4K display, there's a dedicated Game Optimizer that helps with smooth motion handling and frame merging.
Samsung Q60A 55" QLED 4K Smart TV: $699.99
For sports fans, this Samsung set is heralded as a fantastic option. The Quantum HDR display packs in 55 inches of vibrant color and pitch-perfect detail, with a Multi-View feature that allows users to watch two simultaneous video feeds at the same time – handy when trying to keep up with multiple games. Since Samsung has one of the easiest-to-navigate menu systems, finding different streaming apps is simple too.
TCL 4-Series 43" 4K Roku Smart TV: $279
Choosing a cheaper option doesn't always have to mean scrimping on quality. Walmart is offering a 43-inch Dolby Vision display technology and in-built Wi-Fi, Freeview and Alexa compatibility for less than $300. And Chinese manufacturer TCL has also teamed up with Roku to pack in a whole host of extra TV apps, including Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, and many more.
Samsung QN900A Neo 65" QLED 8K Smart TV: $3,299.99
According to review websites like TechRadar and Tom's Guide, the Samsung QN900A is the best TV in the world bar none, having "ushered in a new era of flatscreen television technology" and offering "stunning picture quality, exceptional color and brightness, terrific sound, and outstanding blacks." Clearly this top-of-the-range 65-inch set isn't going to be on everybody's wish list, but if you were thinking of going big on a TV deal this Black Friday, then you can take advantage of a massive $1,500+ discount.
