Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova received a standing ovation at President Biden's State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Markarova attended the address as a guest of first lady Jill Biden and sat near her in her box.
"She's bright. She's strong. She's resolved," Biden said of Markarova, who held a small Ukrainian flag.
