Liverpool transfer news: Moreno leads exodus, Sturridge next
12 April
Lacklustre Liverpool leftback Alberto Moreno could soon be about to call time on his Merseyside career, reports The Sun, with the paper claiming the Spaniard is "wanted by Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Such is the lack of trust that Klopp has in Moreno, he prefers to play midfielder James Milner at left-back rather than entrusting the role to the shaky Spanish defender. But despite that, interest from the two Italian clubs means Liverpool feel in a strong enough position to demand nothing less than £15m, three million more than they paid Sevilla three years ago.

And it looks like Moreno won't be the only Red to be given the boot in the summer, at least if the Liverpool Echo is to be believed. They report that Klopp is planning a shake-up at the end of the season and among the players expected to be given their marching orders are Mamadou Sakho, Daniel Sturridge, Lazar Markovic, Lucas Leiva and Kevin Stewart.

Liverpool transfer news: Mamadou Sakho hopes for Anfield return

Palace defender would play for the Reds 'with pleasure' if he is asked back - latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip
Mamadou Sakho will fight for his right to be a Red next season, claims The Independent. The fiery Frenchman has created waves at Crystal Palace since joining the Eagles on loan in January after falling foul of Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp.
The German has intimated that he doesn't believe Sakho has any sort of a future at Anfield, a stance adopted in the light of various off-field problems he encounterd with the player last season.
However, Sakho doesn't see it that way. Discussing the situation with France's Telefoot, the 27-year-old defender didn't rule out the possibility of a return to Merseyside. "I still have three years on my Liverpool contract," he said. "If I have to wear the Liverpool shirt again, I'll do so with pleasure. If I have to wear another shirt... we'll see."
It's been said that Palce may look to sign Sakho permanently, if they can meet his wage demands, but the London Evening Standard warns that Italian outfit Napoli are also monitoring his situation.
Liverpool transfer news: Reds fight Spurs for Lucas Alario
5 April
There's a transfer tussle imminent between Liverpool and Tottenham with the winner likely to land Lucas Alario. According to Talksport the 24-year-old "is ready to move to Europe" and he is being closely monitored by the two Premier League powerhouses.
Currently knocking in goals for River Plate in Argentina, Alario's eye-catching performances have impressed both the Reds and the Lilywhites, but Jurgen Klopp is believed to be leading the chase, although reports from South America suggest that Italian outfit Napoli and French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.
Asked about the speculation in an interview with broadcaster TMW, agent Pedro Aldav issued a come-and-get-me plea to his client's suitors. "Alario is definitely ready for the jump to Europe," Aldave said. "There are many teams interested, every time he takes the field there are scouts from around the world."
Meanwhile, Caughtoffside predicts another Reds showdown with Spurs as it claims that Liverpool are the latest club to be linked to Patrick Schick, the Sampdoria striker who comes with a £19m buy-out clause.
Apparently Klopp sent his scouts to Italy on Monday night to run the rule over the 21-year-old as he played against Inter. Also looking on were scouts from Manchester United and Chelsea, and all three will have sent back favourable reports at Schick scored in his side's 2-1 win.
Having only joined Sampdoria last summer from Sparta Prague, the Czech hitman is also being tailed by Borussia Dortmund but it's believed he favours a move to England and a club that can offer him Champions League football next season.
Liverpool transfer news: Reds want £30m for Mamadou Sakho
3 April
Liverpool are hoping to cash in on the cracking form of Mamadou Sakho by "demanding as much as £30m for the defender this summer", says the Liverpool Echo.
The paper explains that the defender's displays for Crystal Palace since he joined the London club on loan have increased his market value following his off-field problems last season.
Sakho, who moved to the Eagles in January, had a hand in Palace's shock win against Chelsea at the weekend and while the Reds have no intention of bringing him back to Anfield at the end of the season they want to get as much as they can for him.
The Echo says they had slapped a £20m price tag on Sakho in January but that's now increased to £30m. Apparently Palace and "a number of other Premier League clubs, as well as some in La Liga and Serie A, are monitoring Sakho's situation" and the Reds are confident they will get their asking price.
Liverpool transfer news: £22m Leandro Paredes deal lined up
31 March
Roma could succumb to a big-money bid from Liverpool for Leandro Paredes in the summer, reports the Daily Star, with the paper relaying information from Italian publication, TuttoMercatoWeb.
The 22-year-old Argentine playmaker has been scouted by the Reds spies on a number of occasions this season and it's believed that Jurgen Klopp feels his face would fit at Anfield.
Roma are reluctant to sell but according to the Star they might have to in order to "ease some of their financial woes".
Paredes has been kept out of the Roma starting line-up for much of this season by Daniele de Rossi and that could be an additional factor in the likelihood of Liverpool landing the South American midfielder in the summer. It's reported that Roma will accept offers in the region of £22m for Paredes, who spent most of last season on loan with Empoli.
The Reds have also rekindled their interest in striker Luis Muriel, reports the Liverpool Echo, which recalls that the player was previously linked with a move to Anfield in 2014.
"The Colombian forward, who was once one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe, has rediscovered his form at Sampdoria, scoring 12 goals in 26 starts for the Italian club," says the paper. "The 25-year-old striker has a release clause in his contract of around £24m, and Liverpool are now being tipped to activate it."
Liverpool transfer news: Double raid on Real Madrid planned
30 March
Could Liverpool be planning an audacious double swoop in Real Madrid? The Liverpool Echo carries news of reports in Spain that suggest just that.
The players in question are James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio. The first is described by the Echo as "the player of the World Cup 2014" and the second an "impressive youngster".
Colombia star Rodriguez "left Monaco to join Real after the conclusion of the [2014] tournament, but he has since struggled to be a regular for the Spanish giants".
Asensio, meanwhile, "has enjoyed a really decent breakthrough campaign, scoring eight goals in 25 matches for Real - and it would take a huge bid to convince the club to part with the Spain U21 international".
No fee is mentioned and there are plenty of other clubs interested, but a deal "would excite Reds fans the world over", says the Echo.
In other news, it looks as if Jurgen Klopp may have to cross one name off his transfer shortlist, reports the Daily Star, after comments from Real Betis left-back Riza Durmisi.
Following a string of composed performances for the Spanish outfit, the defender, who has a £17m release clause, has caught the eye of the Liverpool manager this season, but he has dampened speculation that he is ready to leave La Liga.
"When Liverpool and other big clubs show interest, of course it's good, but the main thing for me is Betis," said the Danish international, in an interview with the club's website.
Asked what he thought of the Liverpool rumours, he replied: "It means I'm playing well, but it isn't something I'm interested in."
That will come as a blow to Klopp, who is desperate to bring in a left-back in the summer to fill what has been his problem position this season.
