Researchers say hip hop makes cheese taste nicer

Swiss scientists have concluded that exposing cheese to round-the-clock music could enhance its flavour. The Bern University of Arts researchers exposed cheeses to various genres and found that hip hop does a better job than Mozart. “The hip hop sample topped the list of all cheese exposed to music in terms of fruitiness,” said one.

A man in Florida called 911 after finding an iguana in his toilet. Jose Macia had popped in to answer the call of nature when he made the discovery. After Macia raised the alarm, a Fort Lauderdale firefighter put on gloves and fished the iguana out of the toilet before releasing it back into the wild.

Sheep impregnated with 50-year-old sperm
Dozens of sheep have been impregnated using 50-year-old frozen sperm. Samples taken from four rams in 1968 were inseminated into 56 Merino ewes, 34 of which became pregnant. The samples are being hailed as the “world's oldest known viable semen”.
