Online wags got their claws out after a politician in Pakistan live-streamed his press conference on Facebook with the cat filter turned on, meaning he appeared with whiskers and ears. After countless quips were made about him on social media, Shaukat Yousafzai said: “The cat filter was turned on by mistake, let’s not take everything so seriously”.

Domino’s pizza fell for a prank when they fulfilled a £46 order to deliver food to ‘Elizabeth’ at Buckingham Palace. The order was driven to the central London address, where security told them there had been a mistake and there had been no royal order for pizza.
