Vintage television sets have been dumped outside homes in Virginia by a man dressed as an old television set. Adrian Garner, who caught the culprit on a home security camera, said: “He squats down, puts the TV there and walks off. It's the weirdest thing.” Another resident said the prank was “kind of funny”.

Three mouldy pies, stained underwear, a tampon and a scratch card have been found dumped in a Scottish toilet. “What the heck is wrong with some people?” asked the woman unlucky enough to discover the abandoned booty. She said the person who left them behind is “selfish” and urged people to “keep the Western Isles beautiful for everyone”.

Man breaks into hotel room, showers and steals TV

A man in New Mexico is facing charges after police say he broke into a hotel room and showered before stealing a television. Ignacio Gallegos allegedly broke into the hotel room, took a shower and removed a 50-inch TV set from the wall.
