New video bolsters ‘Elvis is alive’ theory

Conspiracy theorists who insist Elvis Presley is still alive think they spotted him at a funeral in February. Commenting on a video of the funeral of US broadcaster George Klein, they claim the King of Rock’s ex-wife Priscilla Presley touches Elvis’s shoulder in the footage. “It's obvious she knows who he is,” they say.

Council charges to teach locals how to wear shoes

A council has been charging adults £15 to attend a course on “how to wear accessories”. The three-hour course run by Northamptonshire County Council’s adult learning department offers to teach people how to “understand the impact of accessories” such as socks and handbags. Locals have branded the course “a complete waste of money”.

US boy dials 911 to order happy meal

A five-year-old boy in Phoenix called the emergency services to order a Happy Meal from McDonald’s. A police officer delivered the food in person to the child, along with some words about the correct reasons to dial 911. The boy’s mother, Kim Skabelund, says the officer handled the situation with “love and kindness”.
