A parcel that fell in a toilet after it was pushed through a bathroom window is among a list of pre-Christmas delivery complaints revealed in a new survey. Other stories include parcels being left in the rain and delivery drivers leaving a note claiming the recipient was not at home when they were. Delivery problems were reported by 54% of those questioned by Which?.

Pork blamed as doctors find 700 tapeworms in man

A man taken to hospital complaining of headaches and seizures was found to have over 700 tapeworms living in his body. Zhu Zhong-fa, 43, from east China's Zhejiang province had been suffering for a month before going to the doctors. Experts blame a pork dish that he had eaten.

Bagel shop worker drives six hours to return keys

A bagel shop worker drove for six hours to reunite a customer with her lost keys. Diana Chong says Vinny Proscia, the manager of Bagels 101 in Long Island, New York, made the epic journey after she had left her keys in his store. Proscia shrugged off the gesture, saying: “That is what I was always taught, if I am able to help — help.”
