An Indian minister has slammed the “loose moral character” of imported bulls, claiming they are prone to “indiscriminate wantonness”. Farming minister Om Prakash Dhankar said: “Foreign bulls are more aggressive and they violate more animals, including buffaloes, because they don’t have the characteristics of our local bulls.”

A Sky News presenter confused Clive James with Clive Anderson, in an awkward moment of broadcasting. Reporting on the death of James, Sarah-Jane Mee remembered “the Bee Gees storming off his chat show”. However, that infamous storm-out was on the Clive Anderson show.

US police rescue deer trapped in bedroom

Police in Oklahoma were called to a home where an intruding deer had made its way inside and ended up stuck in a bedroom. The Edmond Police Department posted a video to Facebook, quipping: “We've said it once, we'll say it again, Christmas decorations should be put up AFTER Thanksgiving!”
