Japanese billionaire seeks girlfriend for moon voyage

A Japanese billionaire is searching for a girlfriend to join him on a voyage around the moon. Yusaku Maezawa, who is due to fly around the moon in 2023, is seeking single females aged over 20, saying: “As feelings of loneliness and emptiness slowly begin to surge upon me, there’s one thing that I think about: continuing to love one woman.” He added: “I want to shout our love and world peace from outer space.”
Motorway sign asks drivers for nudes
Drivers motoring along a Kentucky highway were surprised when an electronic road sign asked them to “send nudes”. The sign, on Highway 92 in Pine Knot, was hacked one morning last week. The contractor that owns the sign insists that none of its employees were involved in the prank.

Gritter Thunberg leads names for new salt spreaders
Snowel Gallagher and Gritter Thunberg are among the names chosen for a new fleet of eight salt spreaders in Manchester after the city council appealed for suggestions on Twitter. As well as the puns on the names of the Mancunian rocker Noel Gallagher and environmentalist Greta Thunberg, other monikers suggested included Basil Salty, Grit Astley, Spreaddie Mercury and Snowbi-Gone Kenobi.
