A man who stopped using toilets in 1974 and instead relieves himself in the great outdoors insists his daily deposits leave the earth “teeming with life”. Masana Izawa, who lives near Tokyo, says of his al fresco offerings: “If (you’re) an ant, it’s a fairy tale candy house.”
Sausage dog disappears and takes bus to beach
The owner of a dachshund who took the bus 18 miles to beach says it's “out of character” for the dog. The sausage dog, called Frank, boarded the number 76 bus from his home in Colchester bound for the seaside. A passenger later returned the dog to his owner.

Woman finds lost mixtape in Swedish exhibition
A woman who lost a mixtape she had made in the early 90s has found it while visiting an art exhibition in Sweden. Stella Wedell was just 12 when her homemade cassette was lost in either the Costa Brava or Majorca. Then she randomly found it on display an exhibition called Sea of Artefacts. The tape featured hits by Shaggy, UB40 and the Pet Shop Boys.
