K-pop star apologises for coronavirus prank

K-pop star Kim Jaejoong has apologised for pretending that he was in hospital with Covid-19, admitting his Instagram post was an April Fool’s Day joke. The singer had claimed he caught the virus after “ignoring” government advice, but faced the wrath of fans once he confessed it was not true. “How can you pull a prank like this when the situation right now is so serious?” asked one.
Knitting group works remotely for record
A British knitting group is hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the longest knitted bunting. Due to the lockdown, members of the group are having to work remotely and then send their finished triangles to the home of the group’s founder, where she is stringing them together with about five miles of tape.

Medical fetish firm donates scrubs to NHS
A medical fetish company has donated all of its stock of disposable scrub garments to the National Health Service. MedFet UK said: “Today we donated our entire stock of disposable scrubs to an NHS hospital. It was just a few sets, because we don’t carry large stocks, but they were desperate, so we sent them free of charge.”
