Police chase a peacock through Brooklyn

Police in New York had to chase a peacock that had escaped from the Prospect Park Zoo and gone on the run in Brooklyn. The NYPD said it received a 911 call on Monday morning that reported a peacock running loose near Flatbush Avenue and Empire Boulevard. The chase ended when the bird took flight and vaulted a fence back into the zoo.
Heinz launches ice cream range
Heinz has conjured ice cream flavours based on their sauce products. The options in the Heinz Creamz range include: Heinz Ketchup Creamz, Heinz Salad Creamz and Heinz Mayo Creamz. If you are interested in trying them out, you will have to buy DIY kits to make them. The kits are available on the company’s Heinz To Home website.

Another cigar-shaped UFO spotted
A man has filmed a cigar-shaped UFO flying across the sky over the city of Detroit in Michigan. In the footage shot by local resident Proimos Paul the object appears elongated and moving at speed, like ones seen across the US in recent months. “I've seen the same thing over my hometown last summer,” said one viewer. “It stayed stationary and it moved back and forth, back and forth.”
