Kellogg's launches onion-flavoured cereal
Kellogg’s has launched an onion-flavour breakfast cereal. The peculiar move comes 16 years after the idea won a controversial poll in Korea. Boxes of Chaka flakes sold out in 48 hours as cereal devotees hailed a “win for democracy”, following a long campaign for the company to honour the result of the 2004 referendum.

Boa constrictor found at Welsh allotment
Allotment holders in Wales were surprised when they discovered a 6ft (1.8-metre) boa constrictor. The snake was found by a member of the public at a community allotment site in Newport. “We regularly respond to escaped snakes, and continue to highlight the importance of safe, secure and appropriate accommodation for these animals, who have such complex needs,” said the RSPCA.
