A UFO investigator says the universe is filled with “woke” aliens who have already dealt with issues such as racism and religious differences and now live in peace. Philip Mantle, who has spent more than 40 years researching UFOs, said extra-terrestrials had likely gone through “social issues like racism, gender issues, political differences, religious and ethical differences.”
Humanity reaches limit of competitive hotdog eating
It is believed that competitive hotdog eaters are nearing the limit of human performance. A maximum of 84 hotdogs in 10 minutes is possible, according to a sports science study. After Joey “Jaws” Chestnut set a record of 75 earlier this month, a sports medicine specialist at High Point University in North Carolina concluded that 84 hotdogs is “the maximum possible limit for a Usain Bolt-type performance”.

Worm found in woman's throat
A worm was found in the tonsil of a Japanese woman with a sore throat. The nematode roundworm, which was nearly four centimetres long, is thought to have come from raw fish. Doctors at St Luke’s International hospital in the Japanese capital removed the long black worm with tweezers after the patient had complained of throat pain and irritation.
