£3,000 engagement ring lost during proposal

A Missouri man has reportedly lost a £3,000 engagement ring, after dropping it through the boards of a wooden bridge while trying to propose to his girlfriend. Friends of the couple scoured the river below for hours, but came up empty handed.

Thieves abandon stolen vehicle with body inside

A stolen vehicle towing a U-Haul trailer has been found abandoned, after the thieves discovered the contents of the trailer were the remains of the victim's father-in-law. Police say they recovered the vehicle, with the casket still inside, after a four hour search. Three people have been arrested in connection with the theft.
