A Chinese woman stunned railway workers at a railway station in Dongguan when she refused to be parted from her handbag while it went through a security checkpoint. The woman then climbed into the X-ray machine with her handbag and rode along the conveyor belt, before walking off to catch her train.
Smuggler caught using fake bottom
A Brazilian man has been arrested while attempting to travel through Lisbon airport in Portugal with one kilogram of cocaine concealed in a large pads sewn into his shorts. Police say an anti-drug trafficking unit was already investigating the man when he was spotted at the airport by border security.

Leaping elk brings down helicopter
Researchers in Utah had a lucky escape when an elk they were trying to capture leapt into the tail rotor of their helicopter, bringing it crashing to the ground. The researchers escaped with minor injuries, but the elk did not survive.
