Man hospitalised after attempting sex with car

A Kansas man has been treated in hospital after police found him trying to have sex with a car. Officers found the 24-year-old naked underneath the vehicle, attempting to interfere with the exhaust pipe. When the man failed to respond to orders to stop, officers used a stun gun to subdue him.
Two attacked with sword over missing socks
A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted homicide after going on a rampage in his home when he could not find his socks. Believing that his roommate had stolen them, Brandon McCray attacked 53-year-old Frank Smith with a sword, nearly severing three of his fingers. McCray then attacked his ex-girlfriend, cutting her on the thigh.

Woman has 130lb tumour removed
Doctors have removed of a 132lb (60kg) ovarian tumour from a woman in Connecticut. It took 12 surgeons more than five hours to remove the tumour, which they say is “in the top 10 or 20 in terms of size worldwide”. The 38-year-old woman is expected to make a full recovery.
