Driver surprised to find a gun stuck in his vehicle's front bumper

A Washington motorist made a surprising discovery after reportedly seeing a “small, black object” flying towards his car and striking the front of the vehicle. The driver continued for a further 17 miles, before pulling over to find that the object was a gun, which had become lodged in the bumper of his car. The weapon was seized by police.

Driver crashes SUV then goes for a haircut

An elderly Chicago man has escaped serious injury after crashing his SUV through the front window of a seafood deli. Staff at the deli asked the man to stay on the scene until police arrived, but he walked to the shop next door because he “didn’t want to miss his haircut appointment”.

Student tried to sell school online

A student has been suspended after a prank in which he offered his high school for sale on Craigslist. Kylan Scheele, 18, listed the reason for the sale as “due to the loss of students coming up”, in reference to looming graduations. School officials interpreted it as an ambiguous threat to the lives of students, and suspended him for three days.
