Transport officials in Vienna have chosen a novel way of combating one of the issues facing commuters during the heat wave affecting much of Europe, handing out deodorant to passengers before they board. More than 14,000 packages have been distribute to help deal with crowded trains and body odour.
Candidate posts topless picture of wife on campaign website
A candidate for city council in St Paul, Minneapolis, has been arrested after he allegedly posted a topless photograph of his wife on his campaign website. David Martinez reportedly published the photograph alongside a link to a restraining order his wife had taken out against him - leading to charges of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images.

Man steals date’s car to take another woman on a date
A Memphis man has been arrested after he allegedly stole a woman’s car to take a relative of hers on a date. Police say the Kelton Griffin invited Faith Pugh out for dinner and asked her to buy him a cigar at a petrol station before driving off with her vehicle. The car was tracked to a drive-in cinema, where Griffin was found watching a film with the victim’s god sister.
