Police are investigating the theft of $100,000 worth of instant noodles in the US

Police in Fayette County, Georgia, have appealed for public help, after $100,000 worth of instant noodles was stolen. Deputies said that a 53-foot trailer containing the noodles was stolen some time between 25 July and 1 August, despite being secured outside a petrol station by the side of a highway.

Paris launches footpath urinals

In a bid to stop widespread public urination on the streets of Paris, city officials have installed several “Uritrottoir” – public urinal stations that are completely exposed. The urinals are only designed to be used by men, and contain straw and other compost material to help deal with any unpleasant odours.
