PRETORIA, MONDAY: South African prosecutor Gerrie Nel, nicknamed ‘The Pit Bull’, questions Oscar Pistorius. The murder trial is being postponed for two week following the athlete’s cross-examination.


SYDNEY, WEDNESDAY: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge meet with Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove, who bestowed Prince George with a huge cuddly wombat toy at Admiralty House.
