The Mirror says Ronaldo has been offered a £26.5m-a-year contract by Juve and it’s believed an £88m bid could be enough to sign the 33-year-old Portugal international.
While sources believe there’s a 95% chance Ronaldo will sign for Juventus, it’s claimed that his agent Jorge Mendes is “hoping for an auction” and is waiting to see if United or Paris Saint-Germain “firm up their interest”.
The Sun says United could hijack Juve’s move for Ronaldo, who played at Old Trafford from 2003 to 2009.
Willian: Chelsea to Barcelona
Chelsea are open to selling Willian to Barcelona, The Daily Telegraph reports, because they would rather see the Brazil international go to Spain than to Manchester United. According to Sky Sports Chelsea rejected a bid “in excess of £50m” from Barcelona but talks are ongoing. The Sun adds that Barcelona are willing to offer Paulinho as part of a deal for Willian.

Mahrez and Jorginho set to join City
Premier League champions Manchester City are close to landing Riyad Mahrez and Jorginho in a “£108m double deal”. Leicester City winger Mahrez could join for an initial £60m while Napoli midfielder Jorginho is close to completing a £48.7m move. (Daily Mirror)
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: Lazio to Manchester United
United have been “handed a boost” in their pursuit of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. It’s reported that Juventus have pulled out of the running for the 22-year-old Serbia international. (Manchester Evening News)
Yerry Mina: Barcelona to Liverpool
The Daily Mirror says that Liverpool are considering a move for Barcelona defender Yerry Mina. The 23-year-old scored three goals for Colombia at the World Cup, including the equaliser against England. Despite Mina being on the Reds’ radar, the Liverpool Echo expects him “to stay put”.
Adrien Rabiot: PSG to Tottenham
According to reports in France, Spurs are “in the race” to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain. The 23-year-old has also been linked with Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United and Manchester City. (The Sun via France Football)
Thibaut Courtois: Chelsea to Real Madrid
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has not “closed the door” on a move to Real Madrid. The Belgium international’s children live in the Spanish capital and speaking to journalists at the World Cup he said: “Returning to Madrid? I am not going to speak about my future but after the World Cup I will see. But for me my children are very important, I have always said that, and they live there.” (Independent)
