Juve step up Pogba chase
Juventus are so keen to bring Paul Pogba back to the club that they’re willing to offer Manchester United the choice of one of three players as part of the deal.
According to the Daily Express, Juve chiefs are drawing up plans to “end Pogba’s Old Trafford misery” and are confident they will beat Barcelona to re-signing the 25-year-old French World Cup winner.

The players being linked are defender Medhi Benatia, left-back Alex Sandro and striker Mario Mandzukic. The Guardian says that the trio could be offered as a “job lot” in exchange for their former midfielder.
Fred struggling in England
Another Manchester United midfielder who could face an uncertain future is Fred, Metro reports. After a difficult start to his Old Trafford career, Fred is reportedly confiding in fellow Brazilian Fernandinho, who plays for Manchester City. The £52m signing is understood to be “thoroughly disillusioned” with the lack of faith shown in him, says The Guardian.
City and United battle for De Jong
Manchester City and Manchester United battled on the pitch yesterday and now they are set for a battle off it. Both Manchester clubs are linked with a move for Ajax star Frenkie de Jong, 21. There are reports that City are set to win the race to sign the £50m-rated midfielder. (Daily Mail)
Chelsea target Barca star Suarez
Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is wanted by a number of European clubs. According to reports in Spain, Chelsea, Napoli and Valencia are interested in the 24-year-old. (Daily Star)
Cherries spark £40m Ake transfer ‘scramble’
Bournemouth could be ready to cash in on talented defender Nathan Ake. The 23-year-old Dutchman, who is rated at £40m, has impressed for the Cherries this season. Ake has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. (The Sun)
Trio of clubs eye Brahimi
Yacine Brahimi could be set to leave Porto on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season. The Algerian playmaker, who is 28, is being linked with Premier League clubs Newcastle, West Ham and Everton. (The Sun)
Alves has Prem ambition
Paris Saint-Germain right-back Dani Alves wants to sign for an English top-flight team before his career ends. The Daily Telegraph says the 35-year-old Brazilian will make it to the Premier League “one way or another”.
