Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.) has won re-election despite facing a 20-count federal indictment on tax and wire fraud charges. With 74 percent of the vote in, Grimm led Democratic challenger Domenic Recchia 55 percent to 43 percent.

Grimm was indicted in April and has said he will step down if convicted. He received an unusual endorsement over the weekend from the New York Daily News, which urged voters to support him in hopes he would be convicted, resulting in a do-over election with new candidates.
