Big Hero 6 has a few top-secret Marvel cameos
Movies like The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy are notorious for embedding small, winking references to those familiar with Marvel comics lore — and even Big Hero 6, the company's upcoming animated film, is getting in on the fun. In an interview with Slashfilm, co-directors Don Hall and Chris Williams revealed that Big Hero 6 has a few Marvel Easter eggs of its own — but you'll need to look very, very hard to spot them.
"I will say we generally have a lot of Easter eggs in this movie to the point that we had to really tell our artists to knock it off," said Williams. Those Easter eggs include a few cameos from "very obscure" Marvel characters, with special permission from the comic-book giant.
Neither director is willing to spoil which specific characters appear, but Hall adds that the characters are "Z level," so keep your eyes peeled for Bessie the Hellcow.
