Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader reunite for The Skeleton Twins

As cast members on Saturday Night Live, Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader performed many of their most memorable sketches together — and now that they've both retired from the show, they've reunited to test out their dramatic chops in The Skeleton Twins.
Wiig and Hader star as Maggie and Milo, two once-close twins who reunite as adults after a long estrangement. Maggie is frustrated with the ennui that has crept into her marriage; Milo is depressed that his efforts to become a famous actor have been a complete failure. "How'd we go 10 years without talking?" asks Maggie. "It's probably not worth talking about now," says Milo.
Earlier this year, The Skeleton Twins played at the Sundance Film Festival, where it earned universally positive reviews. We'll see if that rapturous reception extends to the rest of the country when The Skeleton Twins opens in September. --Scott Meslow
