Dave Brat deflects policy questions in post-win interview: 'I just wanted to talk about the victory'

Dave Brat unseated Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) on Tuesday, and in the afterglow of his stunning victory he wanted to talk not about where he stands on the issues, but about the victory itself.

When MSNBC host Chuck Todd asked Brat if he thought there should even be a federal minimum wage, the candidate responded: "I don't have a well-crafted response on that." Todd then turned the conversation to Syria, and again Brat brushed off the policy query.
