Mary Soames, last surviving child of Winston Churchill, dies at 91

Winston Churchill's last living child died Saturday evening, The Associated Press reports. Mary Soames was 91 years old.

The youngest of Churchill's five children, Soames was born on September 15, 1922, and she went on to join the Red Cross and later military units during World War II. Soames also traveled extensively with her father, who led Britain through the fight against Nazi Germany during WWII.
