One Direction band members apparently caught smoking joint in leaked video

The squeaky clean boys of One Direction have some explaining to do.
The Daily Mail obtained video that purports to show band members Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik passing around a joint during a tour stop in Peru last month. The conversation caught on the tape all but confirms it's weed they're smoking, as Tomlinson is heard saying, "So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!" At one point, he pans the camera to a police officer on a motorcycle traveling next to the band members' car and says, "He's thinking, 'I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there.' And he's hit the nail on the head." (Peruvian law actually allows marijuana possession if it's for "personal and immediate consumption.")
It's unclear if the other band members were present, but nonetheless, the incident has left the band's fervent fans divided.
