Fraternity members graffiti beached whale carcass

If you saw a beached whale, what would your first impulse be? Maybe you would snap a photo or leave the scene in case it was about to explode. Fraternity members in Atlantic City had a different idea, though: They spray-painted Greek letters onto the whale.
On Thursday, a dead minke whale was found under Atlantic City's Central Pier. Its body showed no signs of injury, but its underbelly was tagged with purple spray paint. Police say the markings appear to be the Greek letters Tau Epsilon Phi and the number 94. However, a number of local universities house Greek organizations with the same letters, so the culprits aren't likely to be caught.
