A California lice expert claims that group selfies are to blame for a recent uptick in head lice cases. "Selfies are fun, but the consequences are real," said specialist Mary McQuillian. Medical experts, however, aren't convinced that the head-to-head contact in a group photo is sustained long enough to transmit lice.
