A Missouri woman filed a lawsuit against her bank and a major credit bureau after they declared her dead and failed to correct the mistake. Kimberly Haman says she spent months trying to apply for a mortgage and a credit card, only to have the her applications stalled and declined because she is listed as deceased. While Heartland Bank has vowed to correct the error, Haman has not yet legally been brought back to life.
