The U.S. Central Command's Twitter, YouTube reportedly hacked by ISIS supporters

The U.S. Central Command's Twitter and YouTube accounts were apparently hacked by ISIS supporters on Monday. The Twitter account was suspended after it was compromised.

Both accounts' profile pictures were replaced with an image bearing the messages "Cyber Caliphate" and "We love you, ISIS." The @CentCom Twitter account also tweeted ISIS-related messages threatening Americans "in the name of Allah."

The first tweet after the account was hacked reads, "American soldiers, watch your back. We are coming. ISIS." The hackers also uploaded ISIS propaganda videos to the Central Command YouTube account.

An unnamed official from the U.S. Defense Department confirmed to Reuters U.K. that the account was "compromised," adding that the U.S. Central Command is "taking appropriate measures to address the matter."
