Police in France arrested a dozen people overnight suspected of providing "logistical support" to the militant gunmen who killed 17 people in attacks across Paris last week.

The arrests were made in the area south of Paris, taking place before U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with President Francois Hollande and Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius Friday morning, Reuters reports. One of the arrests happened in Montrouge, where a policewoman was shot and killed during the attacks. The nine men and three women arrested have ties to the Islamic State–linked gunman, Amedy Coulibaly, the apparent murderer of the policewoman, French police officials say. Police are questioning the suspects about "possibly material support" they gave Coulibaly, including weapons and cars, AFP reports, citing judicial sources.
