Benjamin Netanyahu's favorable rating plummets among Democrats after Iran speech

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's image plunged among Democrats following his controversial speech to Congress last week about the threat of a nuclear Iran, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.
Before the speech, 32 percent of Democrats had a favorable impression of Netanyahu, the same percentage who viewed him unfavorably. After the speech, though, only 17 percent of Democrats viewed him favorably, while 46 percent said the opposite.
The White House and Democratic lawmakers widely criticized Netanyahu's speech, arguing it could undermine the Obama administration's ongoing nuclear negotiations with Tehran.
